Collection of Old Metal Charms in Treen Hive-Shaped Bank vintage abstract painting educated at Balmforth Avenue SchoolVery fun to open this old wooden hive shaped coin bank to find all of these old charms inside! I'm not quite sure the mix of metals here mostly lead I think, but at least one that appears to be pewter (the boar is especially heavy). They are all definitely old, and most with rings for hanging; I love the mix of dogs and cats and horses among them, plus tools and instruments and a little chair, though it has lost one arm.
